(Ecofin Agency) - As part of efforts to make strong presence and grow its share of the oil market, Engen Ghana Limited, a subsidiary of Engen Petroleum South Africa, has launched its Bodede Service Station near Mampongteng in the Kwabre East District. This service station includes a Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) service unit, a high-tech fuel pump shelter, fuel pump stands and a standby generator to guarantee 24-hour services to its customers. Engen’s Retail and Property Development Officer, Agbeko Lotsu, stated that good customer care and quality service were of much importance to the company. He noted that their services is not just about making profit but to help set up jobs and live up to its corporate social responsibility to the public by building education infrastructure and health facilities amongst other things. Mr. Lotsu added that the new service station, is to provide valued services to motorists.
Engen has been present in Ghana for over a decade with the aim of becoming the Oil Company of choice in sub-Saharan Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands. According to Ghana Web, the company believes in value for money which is why it is known for its quality petroleum products.
