(Ecofin Agency) - Spanish consulting and engineering firm, Incatema Consulting, has obtained the approval of Angola’s government to develop an agro-pastoral project in the Samba Caju municipality, in the Cuanza Norte district. This was reported by the Angolan press agency (Angop).
Valued at $73 million, the project should help valorize the region’s agricultural potential and falls in line with the government’s objective to promote projects that improve agricultural processing and output in the country.
According to Angop, the ministry of finances should support the Spanish firm by providing the conditions necessary for its successful development.
Let it be recalled that data from the World Trade Organization (WTO) shows that Angola’s livestocks stand at about 3.5 million cattle and has 54 million hectares of grazing lands.
