(Ecofin Agency) - Burkina Faso has just issued a call for tender to select companies in the framework of a project aimed at extending its electrical network.
The country is indeed planning to construct electricity transport and distribution infrastructures in 12 localities namely, Yaho, Mamou, Maoula, Madou, Fobiri, Mouni, Kongoba, Bondo, Mina, Balembar, Medar and Soriane, Esi Africa reports.
The works to be done are, among others, the construction of a 36 kilometers low voltage line and 39 kilometers of a 33KV high voltage line. In addition, ten 33KV three phase transformers and fourteen 100KVA transformers will be erected.
The detailed description of the works is inscribed in the tender document that the candidates can request in order to prepare and submit their bid by October 25, 2018.
Let’s remind that the works should be done in 18 months and are financed by the Islamic Development Bank.
