(Ecofin Agency) - On October 2-6, The Walt Disney Company and UniFrance, an institution that promotes French cinema around the world, will organize the first edition of Festival Afrique Junior in Côte d’Ivoire. During this event, French and American animated films will be freely shown at Majestic cinema and the French Institute in Côte d’Ivoire.
Aya de Yopougon, the animation film co-written by Marguerite Abouet, an Ivorian, and the new les Indestructibles 2, distributed by Disney will also be shown.
Some of the films to be shown will also be screened in Boyo to give residents the desire to go to the cinema.
“It is fantastic to watch a movie on a large screen. The looks on children’s faces alone justify our will to offer this unique experience to the great majority,” Jean-François Camilleri, president of The Walt Disney Company France, explained.
